The ornament of roofing is the final touch and the accomplishment of the roofer knowledge which uses numerous materials for XIIth century. Metals: copper, forged iron, lead, zinc. Terracota varnished or not. Ears of ridgepole and weather vanes are used for decoration but also to represent the job of the owner, his will to finish its roofing as a signature. |
